Welcome to the site of the Upper Peninsula Golf Association, home to a collection of 53 unique 9 and 18 hole layouts throughout Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Peninsula, Ontario, Canada and neighboring Northeastern Wisconsin.

Oct 14, 2019  Nice Mid size casino in the UP of Michigan. We stop in for concerts and a casino night. I'm not much for the casino but I don't see the wife till AM. Small enough for her to feel safe at all hours in casino and hotel. It might just be a casino thing but it always seems quite smoky on.

Island Casino Escanaba Golf Outing 2019 Schedule

Helpful Spectator notes to pass along to public:

  1. Wear sunscreen; sunglasses or visor recommended.
  2. Wear comfortable walking shoes or golf spikes.
  3. As a general rule no cell phones, pagers or cameras allowed on the course. But people often monitor the “Real-Time Scoring” site on their Smart phones. So if you bring a phone, set it to vibrate setting.

Players are happy to pose for photos and sign autographs only after their rounds. The best time to request autographs are after the player has signed her scorecard.

  • There are four sets of Spectator Grandstands located on the north end of the course…by the driving range, the first tee, and the 9th and 18th greens. But you can also bring a chair to sit along the 9th and 18th greens.
